Daily Media Briefing June 14, 2016

(Millersville, MD) For the 24 hour period beginning at midnight on Monday, June 13th the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to 244 incidents (daily average is 220).

Incidents of Media Interest Monday, June 13th:

Pedestrian Struck                                          Linthicum

One person was seriously injured after being struck by an auto Monday night in Linthicum. Around 10:55 p.m. firefighters responded to the area of Andover Road and Camp Meade Road for a reported pedestrian struck. Firefighters located a 47-year-old female with serious injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported by paramedics to the trauma center at John Hopkins Hospital with serious but not believed life-threatening injuries.
